What is the Rhoer Club?
The Rhoer Club is a youth affiliate of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., created for girls ages 12 to 18. It’s designed to empower young ladies through mentorship, leadership development, academic support, and community service. Rhoers are guided by Sorors who serve as role models and help them build confidence, character, and a commitment to excellence.Through national initiatives, service projects, educational workshops, and sisterhood bonding, Rhoers are exposed to meaningful experiences that prepare them for success in high school, college, and beyond.
The AOS Rhoer Club, sponsored by the Alpha Omicron Sigma Chapter in Dallas, Texas, brings the national mission of the Rhoer program to life through meaningful, hands-on experiences tailored to the local community. Our club is a vibrant, supportive environment where young ladies are mentored, uplifted, and challenged to become the best version of themselves.
We Focus On:

Workshops that cover life skills, self-esteem, college prep, and leadership

Collaborations with other youth organizations
How to Inquire:
We welcome new members each Fall during the month of October. If you know a young lady between the ages of 12–18 who would thrive in a structured, empowering program—we’d love to connect.

Philos
What is the Philo Affiliate?
Many years ago, alumnae chapters of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. realized the importance of the prestige, goodwill, and cooperation of women who, for various reasons, were not members of any Greek-letter organization. Many of these women were of the highest caliber with outstanding religious, educational, civic, and social connections. These women, who were substantial, dependable, and exerted the energy and willingness to render service to humankind and improve their communities were organized into auxiliaries under various names. In 1954, the sorority unified and approved these organized groups and accepted the name, Philo, or friend, as their official name.
Locally, the Alpha Omicron Sigma Philos have contributed countless hours of community service and thousands of dollars to aid Sigma Gamma Rho’s aim to enhance the quality of life within every community.

Rhosebuds
What is the Rhosebud Club?
The Rhosebud Club is an affiliate group of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. consisting of a diverse group of girls ages 8 through 11 years of age. Delicate like the petals of a rosebud, this affiliate group is handled with special care and attention.
Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. seeks to play a role in helping to cultivate girls as they grow into young ladies who are well-rounded and will embody the qualities needed to be good students and productive citizens. We feel this can be best achieved through activities that will contribute to the overall well-being of the Rhosebud.
